How do I enroll my child in school?
The Reception Centre helps families and students complete the necessary steps to register for and to become part of their school community. You need to make an appointment before you go. One parent/guardian or education designate must accompany the student to his or her appointment.

My child is falling behind in school. How can I help?
There are several things you can do to help your child catch up with the studies. Try to find out what the problem areas are. If he seems to need more individual attention, you and the teacher can discuss ways to resolve this. Perhaps you could volunteer in the classroom. There are also organizations can help you monitor and help with your child’s progress. CICS, for example, provides homework club for newcomer students from Grade 6 to Grade 12.
